Dear Burlington County Resident: I would like to personally congratulate the entire GOP team, lead by Governor-Elect Chris Christie, that made 2009 a great year to be a Republican. With Election season freshly behind us, I would like to take the time to express my immense gratitude to the outstanding candidates and volunteers in Burlington County, who helped make this year such a success. Candidates for Freeholder, Bruce Garganio and Mary Ann O’Brien, and Assembly candidates Dawn Marie Addiego, Scott Rudder, Leah Arter and Harry Adams, worked tirelessly this year in order to execute the largest grassroots effort Burlington County has ever seen. Together, our candidates made personal contact with over 20,000 voters, by knocking on doors, and making phone calls, in addition to attending community events every week. They are responsible not only for their own success, but the plurality Governor-Elect Chris Christie received from our County. Thanks to the incredible volunteers and grassroots efforts, Burlington County is still safely in the hands of Republican Leadership, dedicated to cutting property taxes, and smaller, more responsible government. It’s plain to see that Burlington County Republican Leadership has been making a positive difference in the lives of county residents for more than two decades. Now, thanks to hard work, dedication and the result of this year’s election, we can continue to do so, working hand in hand with a Republican Governor. We are excited to continue the success of ’09 into the 2010 Election. With hard work, great candidates and phenomenal volunteers, we can send John Adler back to Camden County, and ensure that Freeholder Director Donnelly and Sherriff Jean Stanfield return to their positions, and can continue to serve the residents of Burlington County. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, William F. Layton County Republican Chairman |
