Welcome to the Burlington County Republican Committee Web-site!
I would like to personally congratulate our two newly elected Freeholders, Leah Arter and Joe Howarth for a hard-fought successful campaign, as well as Assemblyman-Elect Chris Brown who will join Senator Dawn Addiego and Assemblyman Scott Rudder in representing the 8th Legislative District. Surrogate George Kotch will continue to serve the tax-payers of this County and Senator Diane Allen retained her seat in the 7th District. Job well done!
I would also like to acknowledge Jim Keenan and Chris Halgas, who sought two Democrat-held assembly seats in the 7th District. Their efforts and talents are a true asset to our organization and attributed to their very competitive race.
Congratulations and thanks should also be extended to all of the local candidates and volunteers from all municipalities, we truly appreciate all your hard work and commitment to the county organization and could not be successful without you.
Our candidates and elected officials here in Burlington County believe in smaller, more fiscally responsible government and lower taxes to create jobs and get the local and State economy moving again. We are committed to these principles and thank the voters of this county for helping us continue to make Burlington County a great place to live.
We are already gearing up for next year when we can send Obama a message and elect a Republican President! Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio and Freeholder Mary Ann O’Brien will also be seeking re-election this year so that they can continue their record of cutting taxes and spending.
It is never too early to get involved in the process. Please call Republican Headquarters at 609-267-3432 with any questions or to participate in what inevitably will be a very exciting year!
Sincerely
William F. Layton, Chairman
