Addiego & Rudder Win Backing from Small Business NFIB endorsement proves Republicans best on economy, jobs issues For Immediate Release
Mount Holly, October 12, 2009 – The National Federation of Independent Businesses announced this week that it has endorsed the re-election of Assemblywoman Dawn Marie Addiego and Assemblyman Scott Rudder as the best candidates in the race when it coms to improving our economy, creating jobs and standing up for small businesses. “We are extremely proud to be endorsed by the nation’s largest small business organization – these folks are the backbone of our state and national economy and their support is truly gratifying,” said Addiego. “Out-of-control taxes and excessive regulation are strangling New Jersey businesses and forcing the to leave the State in record numbers. As businesses leave, so do the jobs that employ thousands of our fellow residents. We must end Jon Corzine’s anti-business policies and make New Jersey the economic engine of the Northeast once again.” Rudder, a manager at Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, said the difference between New Jersey and other states when it comes to the business climate is like night and day. “While other Governor’s welcome new business with open arms, Jon Corzine and the Democrats in the legislature welcome them with the threat of higher taxes and rolls of red tape,” said Rudder. “According to the non-partisan Tax Foundation, New Jersey has one of the worst climates for business and job creation in the entire country. We are no longer competitive with our neighboring states and people are voting with their feet by leaving New Jersey for greener pastures. We need to change that trend; and the way we do it is by changing the leadership in Trenton on November 3rd.”
